Ujigami Shrine is a UNESCO World Heritage Site believed to be the oldest extant Shinto shrine in the country. It is an example of classic of Shinto architecture tucked into a small, nature-filled alcove against the rolling hills of southern Kyoto in Uji. This was an incredible structure to admire.
